Dr. Martens announces a new collaboration with cult Japanese sandal experts Suicoke.
Known for a technical and refined approach to men’s sandals, Suicoke have established a reputation for cutting through the constraints of styles and trends, curating a style that is versatile and hardwearing. With a shared commitment to meticulous, innovative production, this collaboration is an energising kick-start to sandal season.
The ethos behind Suicoke’s ever-evolving style profile resonates perfectly with Dr. Martens’ reputation for rebellious self-expression. This season they’ve joined forces to create a capsule sandal collection that represents the adventurous freedom of Suicoke’s boundary-pushing streetwear with the long history of subcultural heritage of Dr. Martens.

Every pair of DM’s have attitude and functionality locked in at the sole and the Japanese brand are no different. Each sandal stands on a lightweight yet hardwearing footbed and outsole by Italian firm Vibram. These two brands represent a collision of design, an innovative combination of the resilient Suicoke footbed with the DM’s Lorsan outsole, finished with dual branding. Two fusions of Lorsan sandal with Suicoke’s Depa and Boak silhouettes, built from our iconic Black Smooth leather.
“We don’t intend to design to a specific demographic, but simply make something special. It shouldn’t be distinguished from our side but rather by the consumer. They are the ones with the freedom and right to choose the product if it fits their lifestyle” — Suicoke says.
Refined details across both sandals include combined debossed branding in the leather, with a Suicoke branded pull-tab on the DM Depa and clip buckles on the DM Boak . Finished with the trademark DM’s heel tab and yellow welt stitching, the Dr. Martens x Suicoke collection blends slick attention to detail and premium all-day comfort.
